The General Hospital (GH) scoop for the week of June 22 hints at a week celebrating JaSam’s 17 year love affair.
As many viewers are aware, GH has run out of original episodes to air. This is due to a halt in production because of the COVID-19 pandemic. But that doesn’t mean ABC is going to leave fans in the lurch. GH will be airing episodes based on weekly themes.
On Monday, GH fans will see the episode from December 2003 when Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) first met, in an interrogation room. Both admitted to each other they were there for aiding and abetting Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
General Hospital Scoop – Jason Morgan Tells Sam McCall She Lost Her Baby
“Well it must be crowded around here if the cops have got to double up on two total strangers, huh,” Sam said to Jason when she first saw him. “I don’t think it’s a mistake,” he replied. “They’re hoping to get something out of it – your testimony against me.”

In a heartbreaking moment for the couple, Jason told Sam her baby had died, in this episode from November 2004, airing on Tuesday. And Kristina Corinthos (Emma and Sarah Smith) is prepared for surgery before she receives stem cells from Sam’s stillborn child.
But happier times were ahead, and on Wednesday, JaSam frolic on the beach in Hawaii, in an episode from October 2005. Then on Thursday, Jason has to improvise when he proposes to Sam in this show from July 2011.
General Hospital Scoop – JaSam Exchange Wedding Vows At The Noodle Buddha
Finally on Friday, JaSam exchange wedding vows, when they tied the knot at the Noodle Buddha, in this September 2011 episode. Lucky for them, they already had a license and the restaurant owner’s son was an ordained minister.
“Jason, what if we didn’t just end up here on impulse, what if this is fate?” Sam asked him. It turned out it was and the star-crossed lovers said their I Do’s to each other. When GH returns with new episodes, hopefully sooner rather than later, do you think Jason and Sam will get the happy ending they deserve?
